We contribute to feeding the world, improving human health and protecting the environment by providing technology that advances plant science and production.
Our controlled environment technology uniquely equips researchers and growers with solutions to meet global demands for plant-based food and health products.
Conviron recognizes the fundamental role that controlled environment facilities play in advancing the discovery process and the importance the next generation of researchers will play conducting research in those facilities. Through a combination of both the Conviron Green Leaf Award™ and the ASPB Conviron Scholars Program Conviron aims to support the next generation of plant scientists, recognize and honor organizations that exemplify Conviron’s vision, undertake significant technology expansions, and demonstrate outstanding leadership in the field of plant science research:
The Conviron Green Leaf Award™ was inaugurated on April 16, 2016 in a presentation to the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center and honored their investment in 34 state-of-the-art Conviron plant growth chambers, plant growth rooms and Argus Control systems. On June 21, 2017 Conviron partnered with the American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB) to launch the ASPB Conviron Scholars Program. The Scholars Program is open to exceptional Undergraduate and Graduate students and is designed to help build their foundation for a successful career in Plant Biology.
